YOUTH PREVENTION PROGRAM

BUILDING RESILIENCE.
EMPOWERING YOUTH.
PREVENTING SUBSTANCE USE.
Teenagers

Valley Health Associates (VHA) is dedicated to preventing youth substance use through comprehensive, trauma-informed programming that builds resilience, nurtures leadership, and expands access to prevention resources across Monterey County.

Our evidence-based, youth-centered model reaches students in high-risk educational and juvenile justice settings, identified through collaboration with the Monterey County Office of Education and local School Districts.

With guidance from our Medical and Clinical Directors, VHA is leading a movement to equip young people, caregivers, and educators with the tools they need to protect youth from early substance use while building thriving, resilient communities.
