Valley Health Associates is launching a one-of-a-kind Mobile Narcotic Treatment Unit to expand access to care across Monterey and San Benito Counties. This mobile wellness unit brings compassionate, trauma-informed treatment directly to overdose hotspots and underserved communities, reaching people who often face the greatest barriers to care. With more than 7,500 Monterey County residents living with opioid use disorder and many lacking access to treatment, this program delivers culturally responsive, whole-person support rooted in dignity, trust, and community care. We are deeply grateful to our grantors and supporters for helping make this life-saving work possible. A second mobile unit will be added to the service areas in Spring 2026.
